Chlorine dioxide test strips

Chlorine dioxide test strips semi-quantitatively measure the chlorine dioxide content of aqueous solutions up to 500 mg/L (ppm).

Chlorine dioxide in general has a higher antimicrobial effect than chlorine and is less corrosive and can be used as an alternative to chlorine in swimming pools. However, chlorine dioxide produces byproducts which must be closely monitored as they are controlled by water authorities.
