Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made from Interlab Ltd. By placing an order with Interlab, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Agreement

Upon placing an order with Interlab Ltd, a contractual agreement is established whereby Interlab agrees to supply, and the customer agrees to purchase, the specified goods. The act of placing an order signifies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Currency and Payment

All prices displayed on our website are in New Zealand Dollars and exclude Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless stated otherwise.

Payments made via VISA and Mastercard are subject to a 2% surcharge. Interlab does not store any card details. Transactions are securely processed through the Windcave payment platform.

For clients operating on credit term accounts, payment is due by the 20th of the month following invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Failure to comply with payment terms may result in the imposition of credit limits, suspension of supply, or refusal of further orders where limits are exceeded.

Pricing

Interlab Ltd is committed to providing accurate and transparent pricing information on our website. While we take reasonable care to ensure pricing is correct, errors may occasionally occur.

Pricing Errors

In the event of a pricing error, Interlab reserves the right to correct the error and amend pricing information accordingly. This includes, but is not limited to, inaccuracies caused by typographical errors, system glitches, or omissions.

Order Acceptance

The placement of an order on our website does not constitute a binding contract if there is a pricing discrepancy, stock issue, or other error affecting the order. Interlab reserves the right to refuse, amend, or cancel any order placed for products or services listed incorrectly.

Correction of Errors

Where an error is identified, Interlab will take reasonable steps to correct it promptly. This may include updating the website, notifying affected customers, and taking steps to prevent recurrence.

Customer Notification

If an order is affected by a pricing discrepancy or other error, the customer will be notified and given the option to proceed with the corrected order or cancel it.

Reservation of Rights

Interlab reserves the right to amend, modify, or update pricing information, product details, and website content at any time without prior notice. These provisions are intended to safeguard fair business practice and maintain accurate information.

Delivery

Interlab aims to dispatch goods as promptly as possible. Typical delivery timeframes are 1–2 working days for the North Island and 2–3 working days for the South Island.

Once goods are handed to the courier, delivery timeframes are outside of Interlab’s direct control. While we work to dispatch orders efficiently, delays may occur due to courier operations or other factors beyond our control. Customers should allow up to one week for delivery where necessary.

Interlab is not liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from courier delays once goods have entered the courier network. Customers with urgent delivery requirements should contact our team to discuss available options before placing an order.

Returns and Refunds

Interlab acknowledges the importance of customer satisfaction. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please refer to our Returns Policy. Returns must be requested within 15 days of the purchase date, and refunds or credits will be considered following inspection and approval of the returned goods.

Product Warranty

Interlab stands by the quality of its products. Unless otherwise stated, products are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. For warranty claims, please contact our team with proof of purchase and details of the issue.

Product Availability

All products listed on our website are subject to availability. Interlab reserves the right to discontinue, modify, or update products without prior notice. If an item ordered is unavailable, our team will contact you to discuss alternatives, backorders, or refunds where appropriate.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Interlab shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the use of our products or services. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of profit, loss of data, business interruption, or laboratory downtime.

Force Majeure

Interlab shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, fire, flood, war, terrorism, government action, transport disruption, or supplier failure.

Communication

All communication regarding orders, enquiries, returns, or account matters should be directed to our team at sales@interlab.co.nz or by phone on +64 4 972 2330.

Amendments to Terms

Interlab reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this website and will apply from the date of publication. Continued use of the website and our services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
