*To prevent any potential tube deformation while autoclaving, the guidelines below are recommended.

• Loosen Caps: Ensure all tube caps are completely loose or slightly unscrewed (by about one full turn) during sterilization. This allows steam to penetrate and pressure to equalize, preventing the tubes from expanding or bursting.
• Use Liquid Cycle: Always select the “Liquid” or “Gravity” cycle on your autoclave. Avoid using the “Fast Exhaust” or “Dry” cycle, as the rapid pressure change and excessive dry heat can cause warping.
• Cool Gradually: After the cycle is complete, allow the autoclave to return to room temperature and pressure naturally before opening the door. Avoid placing the hot tubes on a cold surface, as this can cause thermal shock.
