Labcon have embraced the concepts of Sustainable Development as a part of their corporate culture. They have formed partnerships with end users and customers that share the vision of sustainability to better understand what Labcon can do to reduce or eliminate the negative effects of what we take, what we make, and what we waste. Labcon are also committed to developing products that look toward sustainability for our inspiration at the same time that they achieve the high performance characteristics that you need.
In 2010 Labcon installed an 800kw rooftop solar array, once completed it supplied almost one third of the power consumer by Labcon, it provided about 30% of the energy needed to produce Labcon products. They then went on to increase the number of panels in 2013 to raise the solar power production to 873kw and 33% if their energy consumption.
