TGI laboratory bottles are made of borosilicate glass 3.3 according to DIN EN ISO 4796-1. This means that they have outstanding chemical resistance properties, can withstand high temperatures and high thermal shock resistance. The bottle, pouring ring and screw cap can be sterilised.

Our Media Storage Bottles are made of ILMABOR® "I-330” borosilicate glass is characterised by first-class application and processing properties:
high thermal shock resistance,
chemical resistance,
high transparency,
easy to clean,
readily reusable,
industrial dishwasher-safe,
suitable for further processing to form laboratory apparatus,
recyclable.
Cleaning:
We recommend that storrage bottles are cleaned by hand in a dipping bath or automatically in a dishwasher
Sterilization:
Steam sterilization at max. 134° C, 2 bar, for 20 min. The screw cap must only be placed on the bottle loosely to avoid any excess pressure.
Autoclaving:
In steam at 134° C, for 20 min.
Freezing substances:
Possible down to –40° C (pouring ring/screw cap are not suitable for temperatures lower than this). The bottle can not be more than 3/4 filled and it should be stored in a tilted position at approx. 45°
